Abstract:
The presentation will discuss software customization of standard packages which are produced by large software vendors through small, independent software companies as a case of open innovation. The starting point is a comparative case study two models of open innovation. These will be presented with a particular focus on inter-organizational networks as enablers and inhibitors for open innovation.
