Some of the projects on show included an Interactive Kidney program, designed by students, James Richmond and Martin Jones in conjunction with the Kidney Foundation, to develop an interactive database and encyclopaedia to create awareness and provide information on the kidney and kidney diseases.

NewsMimi Najwa Mashud took a lighthearted approach in the development of one of her projects, “Mr Jones & The Temple of Donuts”, a spoof of a scene from the movie “Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom”.

“I wrote the script, scribbled the storyboards and drank lots of coffee as I modelled and animated the characters in 3d studio max, then composited the movie in adobe after effects”, said Mimi.

Students from the Bachelor of Multimedia course at Monash represent a mix of local and international talent, with students from Norway, Denmark, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia.

NewsThe exhibition was completely organised by the participating students and project managed by duo, Bree Campbell and Vladka Kazda.
