iGate Australia support women in IT in 2004

iGate will continue to offer scholarships in 2004. This year's awards will be targeted at female students studying at Monash's Faculty of IT. The aim of both iGate and the Faculty of IT is to actively encourage more women to pursue careers in IT. The award aims to boost the number of professional women in the IT industry.
iGate Australia is providing two domestic Monash IT students with an iGate Prize for Women in IT scholarship worth $5000 each in 2004.

Eligibility

If (in 2004) you are a domestic second year undergraduate female IT student wanting to find ways to supplement your educational expenses, a scholarship could be just the thing you need to help you fulfill your academic potential.
To be eligible:
. You must have completed 48 points of first year undergraduate study with the Faculty of Information Technology and you are now a full time or part time Faculty of Information Technology second year undergraduate domestic student.
. You have achieved a distinction average in your first year studies.
. You are female.

iGate Australia (Mastech) in 2003

In 2003, iGate awarded two top Monash Faculty of IT second year students with scholarships on 12 June 2003.
Branch Manager of Victoria, Ms Selena Kilburn, presented Bachelor of Software Engineering student Ji Tran and Bachelor of Multimedia student Andrea Matthies with their awards.
Both students achieved high grades in their first year studies. In addition, both Ji and Andrea presented their case to the real side of student life, the financial difficulties imbued in educational expenses, such as buying the latest digital equipment for Multimedia projects.
