 |
The Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) in the Faculty of IT at Monash is a cooperative education program with industry partner organisations including Accenture, AXA Australia, Coles Group, Deloitte, GE Money, IBM, National Australia Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Each year, approximately half of the Australian student intake into the Bachelor of Business Information Systems degree is admitted to the industry-based learning (IBL) stream. Thirty-five of these students in the IBL stream receive a scholarship and placements at two industry partner organisations during their course. The IBL partner organisations fund the scholarships.
As of January 1st 2007, the IBL scholarship will be increased from $32,000 to $36,000 following a review by the program's steering committee. The industry partners also provide over $50,000 per year to support the program's administration and fund achievement scholarships for Bachelor of Business Information Systems students with an ENTER of 97 and above.
