The Middle Way: a peaceful approach to resolving conflict

The Castan Centre for Human Rights Law in the Faculty of Law at Monash and the Australia Tibet Council are co-hosting an event at which the Dalai Lama will feature as keynote speaker and an invited panel of eminent people will have an opportunity to engage in dialogue with His Holiness.

The Dalai Lama will outline his general approach to resolving conflict, whether at the local or global level, before discussing his specific proposals to achieve a genuine autonomy for Tibet in the interests of both the Chinese and Tibetan people.

This event is to be held on Friday 8 June 2007, from 2.15 pm to 4.30 pm, in the Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University, Wellington Road, Clayton.

General release tickets will be available from Robert Blackwood Hall www.monash.edu.au/monart/ - from 9.30am on Friday 23 March.

Ticket purchases are limited to two per person.
A certain number of seats have been set aside for Victorian tertiary students.
Student ID numbers will be needed for every student seat purchased.
No exchange or refunds permitted.
