Imagine Cup - Technology Competition for Students launched again
This is your chance to innovate and create, show the world what you've got, and win some serious prizes.
Imagine Cup is the world’s premier technology competition for students, sponsored by Microsoft.
Show the IT world what you're made of. Enter the 2008 Imagine Cup to tackle the big issues and kick-start your career in IT. Imagine Cup, is giving Australian IT students the chance to unlock their creative genius and build solutions that tackle real-world issues. Now in its sixth year, the Imagine Cup provides a unique opportunity for IT students to showcase their skills, get connected with Microsoft, and compete against other students across the world for great prizes and the glory of the Cup!
Each year, students are provided with a theme – this year, the theme is extremely topical and relevant – “Imagine A World Where Technology Enables a Sustainable Environment”. Last year, there were over 100,000 students who entered worldwide... that’s 100,000 bright young minds working to solve the world’s biggest problems.
This year, students can go in the draw to win trips to France, cash prizes, xbox 360’s, HTC touch mobile phones, and internships for Australian Students at Readify Consulting. This marks the biggest prize pool for Imagine Cup Australia to date, and provides a compelling reason for students to enter.
The 2008 Imagine Cup World Finals will be held in Paris France from July 3-8, 2008.
