The Monash Vice-Chancellor's Undergraduate Research Scholarships are awarded to students of exceptional calibre who have demonstrated a high level of research potential and who are undertaking a substantial research component in the final year of their degree.

The Faculty of Information Technology is pleased to announce that Janet Le Yoong Saw (BITS (Hons) 2008) and Nicholas Meinhold (BCS (Hons) 2008) have been awarded two of the fifteen prestigious scholarships under this scheme.

All faculties were invited to submit nominations and the Monash Research Graduate School Committee awarded the scholarships, each valued at $6,500 for one year, based on academic excellence and research potential.

The Faculty of Information Technology congratulates these two students on their awards and wish them every success with their future studies. We hope that the Honours program will give them each a rewarding experience and encourage them to pursue further research at Monash.
