Our researchers share in $3.4M in ARC funding

Professor Ron Weber

The Faculty has had some excellent success in the recent round of Australian Research Council (ARC) grants.  We have won seven Discovery Grants within the Faculty, and we are participating in two other Discovery grants and two Linkage Grants with the University of Melbourne. This accounts for nearly $3.4M in total funding from 2011-2013.

Congratulations to David Abramson, Damminda Alahakoon, Graham Farr, Maria Garcia de la Banda, Kevin Korb, Kerri Morgan, Bernd Meyer, Ann Nicholson, Mark Wallace, Geoff Webb, Ron Weber (pictured right), Michael Wybrow, and Ingrid Zukerman for their success in receiving funding for the following projects:

  1. An integrative and distributed data management and workflow framework for e-research in biomedical imaging (Prof G. Egan, Dr S. Milton, Mr J. Lohrey, Dr A. Lonie, Prof D. Abramson)  [Partner/Collaborating Organisation(s) - arcitecta pty ltd]
