Create positive environmental change with the Green Steps sustainability training and work placement program

Grow your knowledge and connections in the environmental sustainability sector. Move from passion to action with practical skills and ideas. Get your foot in the door and work on environmental issues in business, government and non-government organisations

Green Steps trains participants in environmental auditing, project planning and management, communication and behaviour change management.

Green Steppers gain:

  • 30 hours intensive and interactive training
  • A 12 day placement within an organisation, working on environmental sustainability projects
  • Access to a national network of motivated and like-minded people
  • A certificate of completion from a nationally recognised program

Green Steps at Monash University is a partnership between the Monash Office of Environmental Sustainability and the Monash Sustainability Institute.
