IT Student recipient of the Shanghai Huawei Technologies Student Package

Congratulations to Cassandra Westwood as Monash University's recipient of the Shanghai Huawei Technologies Student Package. Cassandra is currently studying the Bachelor of Business Information Systems with the Faculty of Information Technology.

Shanghai Huawei Technologies in conjunction with the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development, Victoria, offered ten Student Packages to the top ICT students from each Victorian university.   The package comprised of a seven day all expenses paid visit to the Shanghai Huawei Technologies Research & Development campus, tour of Shanghai and entry into the 2010 World Expo. 

The packages offered were to reward excellence and innovation in ICT and also to present a unique chance to promote Victorian universities and ICT courses and careers more broadly.
