Campus location and how to get there
The Gippsland campus is located approximately 160 kilometres east of Melbourne and can be easily reached by car, train and bus.
Travelling to Gippsland campus
By car: take the Princes Freeway from the city to Gippsland. The trip takes two hours.
By train: a rail service runs to and from Melbourne nine times a day. Weekday and weekend train services run from the Southern Cross, Flinders Street, Caulfield and Dandenong stations. Disembark at Morwell, and cross the railway lines to the bus interchange for regular bus services to the campus. The bus service to the campus is limited on Saturday and Sunday.
By plane: the Latrobe Valley Airport is located 12 kilometres from the campus. There are currently no commercial airline flights to the airport.
Parking at Gippsland campus
Parking is available on campus for students, staff and visitors. Parking permits are not required.
