Biography:
Md Mahbubur Rahim is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Clayton School of Information Technology, Faculty of IT, MONASH University, Australia. Prior to becoming an academic, Rahim worked for a number of years as a software developer in several large organisations in Bangladesh. Rahim also served as a faculty member in the Institute of Technology, Brunei Darussalam and University Putra Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Rahim has research and teaching interests in the areas of e-business systems, adoption and impact of IT systems in organisations, inter-organisational systems, and IT security. He is an active member of review panels of Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations and Journal of IT Applications & Research. He has published the outcomes of his research in over 50 refereed journal and conference papers. Rahim is also the recipient of the BEST PAPER AWARD at the International Conference on e-Commerce, Administration, Society and Education (e-CASE2008), Thailand and IT and its Applications (ITA.94) conference, UK, 1994. Rahim has received over a quarter million in research funding from the Australian Research Council.
