Monash University Faculty of IT & ACS Foundation Women in IT Scholarship

The Faculty of IT and the ACS (Australian Computer Society) Foundation are offering two (2) scholarships to completing Year 12 female VTAC applicants who are commencing an undergraduate degree with the Faculty of IT in 2008.  Students must meet the eligibility and selection criteria within the scholarship.

Each scholarship is valued at $4,000 and payable over 2 semesters in 2008.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

• Female, who has completed Year 12 in 2007 and is a VTAC applicant for entry in 2008
• Enrolled in a Faculty of IT undergraduate degree as at 2008 Round 1 VTAC enrolments (as at Friday 25^th January, 2008)
• Must have ENTER score of 85.00 or above
• Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or, holder of an Australian permanent residency visa, or, permanent humanitarian visa
• Recipient must maintain a minimum of a distinction average (70%) for both semesters in 2008.
• Must not be the recipient of another Monash University scholarship
• Scholarship cannot be deferred, transferred and is valid for one year only (2008).

No application necessary.  Selection is based on Round 1 VTAC enrolments.
