Cisco certification at Monash IT

Students may elect to complete Cisco modules from the CCNA program at Monash IT and become eligible to apply for credits for selected course units in the MAIT.

IMPORTANT: INFORMATION ABOUT TAKING CCNA UNITS SUCH THAT THEY COUNT IN YOUR STUDY LOAD

The following information applies if you are taking CCNA units outside your normal study load:

After successfully completing modules 1 and 2 of the CCNA program at Monash IT , students are eligible to apply for credit for CSE4881 Internet Architecture and Protocols .

After successfully completing modules 3 and 4 of the CCNA program at Monash IT , students are eligible to apply for credit for CSE4885 Communication Practical .

Please note the following important points:

  • Credit applications must be accompanied by official documentation from Monash IT proving you have successfully completed the appropriate CCNA units.
  • Credit cannot be gained until the appropriate modules have been successfully completed.
  • Credit will only be given on the basis of CCNA modules undertaken at Monash IT. CCNA certification from any other body will not be considered for credit into the MAIT.
