Master of Information Technology

2009 Re-enrolment Information

During 2007, the Faculty of Information Technology undertook an extensive review of it’s current graduate and postgraduate degrees. The IT sector is changing rapidly and it is important that our degrees continue to address the requirements of the organisations that employ our graduates.

From 2009, the Master of Information Technology will have a new course structure. The former Professional Tracks will be replaced by four (4) unit Specialisations. The changes to the degree will not prevent current students from continuing with and completing their current degree (provided they are progressing satisfactorily through their course).

A transfer to the new MIT structure is recommended for all currently enrolled students. (Please note: It may not be possible to receive credit for all previously completed units.) If you wish to transfer please indicate your intention to do so via email to Jacqui Hamilton (Jacqueline.Hamilton@infotech.monash.edu.au)

Note: Equivalent units will be provided to allow students who wish to remain in the pre-2009 course version to complete their chosen track.

From 2010, all Clayton campus graduate and postgraduate courses and units will be transferred to the Caulfield campus.
