IBL courses:

Industry-based learning (IBL)

Partnerships with major global organisations, leading Australian companies, and local and international consultancies enable the Faculty of Information Technology to offer many students attractive scholarships, an inclusive and confidence building university experience, and industry based learning placements.

The placements are part of the undergraduate curriculum and lead to exciting, well paid and prestigious graduate positions. Students apply skills gained from their studies in corporate environments and familiarise themselves with a range of processes and systems used in business. This experience makes them more job-ready and appealing to organisations for full-time employment upon graduation.

Industry based learning placements are offered in all of the faculty’s undergraduate degrees. Students accepted into the IBL program will complete one or two 22-week placements with the program’s industry partners.
