Applications fail to respond from time to time. Use the task manager (Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, select Task list). Select the frozen task and hit End Task. Use this with caution as any unsaved work will be lost.

ITS interruptions to service notices

  • RESOLUTION: Blackboard 20091124.1

    The upgrade has been completed and service has been restored to Blackboard (11:50) --------------------------------------- The upgrade to Blackboard will be finished shortly with the service restored by 12:00 at the latest ---------------------------------------- The services will be unavailable for staff and student access from 7am to 11am on Thursday 26 November 2009.

    east1-gw is part of a redundant pair of routers which route subnets for one third of the Clayton user subnets. During the outage all affected network services automatically failed over to east2-gw.

  • Email delays 20091125.1

    The delivery of mail to most external domains has been delayed this morning. Delivery to gmail.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com, bigpond.com, optusnet.com and *.au addresses are not affected.
