Q1. I can't login

a) You may be already  logged in to another computer. Monash students can only log in to one computer at a time. You or the system may not have logged  you out properly from another computer. Contact ITS (990 51777) to reset your account

b) Your password may be incorrect. Contact ITS to issue you with a new password

c) Your account may be encumbered. This means that all your computing facilities have been temporarily suspended. ITS can confirm encumbrance. You will need to visit Student Services for details explaining why your account has been blocked.

d) Occasionally, the Monash network experiences difficulties which prevents all users from logging on. Please be patient.   Check out the Service Interruptions site here

Q2. I forgot my password.

Call ITS (990 51777) or visit the change your password page to reset your password.

Q3. I would like to change my password.

To renew or change your password please contact ITS.

Q4. I sometimes get an error message saying I have logged into too many workstations simultaneously. What do I do?

Monash students can only log in to one computer at a time. You or the system may not have logged  you out properly from another computer. You can either wait 20 minutes for the network to automatically log you out or you can contact ITS (990 51777) to reset your account.
