- Adding Voice-Control to a Seminar Room: Mr. Stuart Vale
Supervisors: Dr. Seng Wai Loke and Dr. Chris Ling
The purpose of this project is to investigate the viability of controlling a seminar room using simple voice commands. The system will add voice control to the devices in the seminar room and Microsoft Powerpoint slide show. The seminar room to be voice enabled contains a web interface that controls the devices such as lights, projector, video recorder and audio settings.
Our system will use the existing interface to control the devices, through the use of OLE Automation and by simulating user selection on the web interface. powerpoint slide show will be voice enabled through the use of OLE Automation.
