There are exciting projects progressing in the Faculty across cultural heritage and IT. Key themes in this diverse area are community and indigenous archiving and knowledge management, and technologies for preserving cultural heritage.
Our researchers are currently working on a number of projects, including the Trust and Technology project that will enable Koorie communities to archive oral memory, and engage with existing government and institutional archives on their terms. There is also the Convicts and Diggers project, which explores long-term demographic outcomes of individuals, families and lineages.
Projects listed within this research priority are primarily affiliated with the Centre for Organisational and Social Informatics (COSI).
