The 13th APMC will be held at Monash University’s Caulfield campus. The campus is located nine kilometres south-east of the city, at 900 Dandenong Road, Caulfield East. Most of the sessions will be held in Building H, which can be found by following signs around campus, and happens to be the tallest building on campus.
Getting to Melbourne
Melbourne Airport is an international airport located approximately 25 kilometres from the city centre. More than twenty international and five domestic airlines operate at Melbourne Airport. There are also five rental car companies located on-site.
From the airport to the city
The airport is located approximately 25 kilometres from the city centre via the Tullamarine Freeway. By car, depending on the traffic, the trip will take about 30 minutes, and cost approximately $40 by taxi.
Starbus operates a door-to-door shuttle bus service between Melbourne Airport and city hotels, including the Citigate Hotel, from 6am to 8pm. The cost is $15 per person, each way. Bookings from the airport are preferred, and you will be required to phone Starbus upon arrival. The driver will then meet you at the “Meeting Point” in the arrivals hall. You will be dropped off at the door of your accommodation.
Bookings for hotel pick-ups are essential and should be made by phone if your flight is within 24 hours. It is imperative that you book your pick-up to allow plenty of time before your flight. Click here for details and online reservations for the Starbus Shuttle.
