Multi-touch Displays and Interactivity for Educational Research
A research plan is being developed for the construction of Multi-touch Displays for educational research. These displays allow direct manipulation of objects by multiple users.
Several avenues for research are possible with these displays including:
- Collaborative learning interactions, for
example collaborative text processing and concept mapping
- HCI interaction studies, for example
gesture based interactions
- Advanced 3D Visualisation studies, for
example direct manipulation of 3D models and scenes
- Educational interactions for young
children, for example teaching sign language.
