I graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka with a first class honours degree in Computer Science. I received the Asoka Amunugama Memorial Prize for Computer Science from University of Peradeniya in year 2000 and was also awarded the University Prize for Academic Excellence from University of Peradeniya in 2003. I was granted a Presidential Scholarship for doctoral studies from the President’s Fund of Sri Lanka in 2005. I'm currently reading for my PhD at Monash before which I was a lecturer at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
