Information systems development is a key area of research in the information systems discipline. It could be argued that it is 'core business' for IS. The research focus of the information systems development group (ISD) therefore covers a range of issues relating to all aspects of the development of information systems including methodologies, people and systems. The research undertaken by the group includes systems on a variety of platforms including web technologies, multimedia systems and mobile.
