Teleworking - Implications for Academic Staff (August 2000 - February 2001)

Aim:

To highlight the main issues - relating to matters of legislation, taxation, OH&S, organizational behaviour and job design - that surround teleworking by academic staff.

Method:

This is a largely qualitative research project. Along with interviews with managers, union representatives and specialists in the area of teleworking, and an extensive review of literature, a series of focus groups will be conducted to address the needs of academic staff who telework within a university environment.

Current Status

This project began in August 2000, and was completed in 2001.
