You are invited to participate in the 8th Australian

(ACKMIDS 2005) to be held at
Rydge’s Hotel, Melbourne,
Australia on December 5 and 6,
2005. Registration now open on Conference Registration page.
This year the conference theme is:
“Why Culture Matters: the Local
and Global in Knowledge Management.”
The conference will provide a forum to explore why culture is
an important factor in the implementation of knowledge management
strategies. Of particular significance is the interaction between
local factors and overarching global concerns within the organization.
The spectrum of interest ranges from cross cultural factors to
systems implementation. The conference provides an opportunity
to explore team, organizational and societal issues as they impact
on knowledge management initiatives.

The conference will have two invited keynote speakers. We are
pleased to announce that Larry Prusak has confirmed that he will
open the conference with his keynote address.
