Visitors notes about Melbourne

Melbourne is Australia’s second-largest city, in the southern end of Australia. Research in knowledge management has been actively pursued in Australia since 1995.

Melbourne can be reached by air, bus or train from other states, and has easy connections by air from Asia, Europe and the USA.

Melbourne offers great festivals and shopping, an obsession for fine food, wine and the arts. Outside the greater Melbourne area are many scenic regional attractions including national parks, wonderful sandy beaches, wineries, the Fairy Penguins and the spectacular surfing beaches along the Great Ocean Road and other parts of the coastline. At that time of year it may also be possible to indulge in some whale watching in Warrnambool. You can see the native flora and fauna year round at the Melbourne Zoo or at nearby wildlife sanctuaries.
