Step 3: Log into Web Enrolment System (WES) and complete the following:

Once you have activated your Authcate account, log into the university’s Web Enrolment System (WES) to complete some of the administrative pre enrolment requirements. Your Authcate username and password, along with your date of birth or postcode, are required for login: https://my.monash.edu.au/wes/

If you want to apply to defer you can do so by following the steps in WES under Enrolment / Re-enrolment table/ Apply for course deferment.  Once you have applied to defer you will not need to do the following steps.

You need to complete each of the modules in the order they appear in WES as each module is only activated once you have completed the necessary information in the one before it.

  • Check/ update address & emergency contact details
  • Complete the Enrolment Questionnaire
  • Complete the CSP HECS-HELP form (if you have been offered a CSP place). If you do not have a Tax File Number, we recommend that you select the full up-front payment option in the interim. Once you have received a TFN, you may change your payment method via WES up to March 31st
  • Stay online to enrol in units – please refer to your course structure at the following url http://www.infotech.monash.edu.au/courses/2009/
    1. Core (compulsory) units will be listed as Unconfirmed. To enrol, click on the “Enrol” link in the Action column for each unit.
    2. Some courses permit you to choose electives. Search for the units you want to enrol in by ‘Unit Code’, ‘Unit Name’, or by using the ‘Advanced Search’ functionality which lists units by faculty.  If more than one result is returned, select the campus and class you want to enrol in, and click ‘
    3. Add selected unit(s) to enrolment form’
    4. Click on “Add units click here”
    5. Repeat step 4 for as many units as required
    6. Click on ‘Submit’ to complete your enrolment (note that if you do not click ‘Submit’, your enrolment will not be complete)
    7. Record or print out your transaction number

It is your responsibility to ensure that the units chosen satisfy course requirements and degree regulations. If you are unsure of what units to enrol in or wish to apply for credit transfer, we can assist you when you come in on enrolment day. We will check that the units you have added are suitable, and advise you of any changes that may need to be made.
