Orientation is compulsory for all commencing students to get connected with the Faculty of Information Technology and University life.
We strongly encourage you to attend our Orientation Program. You will have access to resources and support programs that are important to better equip you for your first year at uni. Welcome to the Faculty of Information Technology! "Information Technology touches all aspects of our lives. We use technology to make life easier and more enjoyable, as well as to make our work more efficient and save costs to remain competitive. "IT professionals have available a wealth of exciting and varied careers. They must understand the complex, challenging problems faced by business, government, and society, and they must develop solutions to help resolve these problems. Moreover, IT professionals operate in a rapidly evolving landscape, where technology capabilities grow exponentially and organisations depend more on IT for their survival. As a result, employers compete aggressively to attract and retain the best IT graduates. Increasingly, IT also provides the means for individuals to realise their entrepreneurial ambitions.
