Thesis submission / examination

Faculty Research Services oversees the thesis submission and examination of its Masters by Research students. For PhD students please refer to the Monash Research Graduate School website.

Nomination of Examiners

Before your thesis can be sent for examination a nomination of examiners form (pdf, 2mb) must be completed by your supervisor and forwarded to Faculty Research Services.

When your thesis is sent for examination all examiners receive the following information:

[MIT (res) - Master of Information Technology by Research
MIMS (res) - Master of Information Management & Systems by Research
MBS (res) - Master of Business Systems by Research].

Process of Post Examination (PhD)
When a PhD student submits a final thesis submission they are required to send a summary of changes to MRGS when amendments are to be made. As a courtesy all Heads of School should be sent a summary of changes when completing the Certification form.
